21 Weeks Pregnant

21 Weeks...5 month and 1 week!

Hello Braxton Hicks contractions...had my first bit of those this morning. I was in denial until I watched my 21 week video and it mentioned it...then I confirmed with my Mom. Yep, already. I will ride them like a lovely wave of love and get very use to them. 

Some days it feels like it is going so fast, and then others seem so slow. 

I have a maternity shoot this weekend and the parents to be requested a silhouette shot.

Today when I got to the office I hurry and did a mock shoot of myself (timer) to make sure I'd be prepared. This is a very rough cut lol but it was fun and I think I'll print a few of these for the babies book. I had to push my stomach out as far as possible so I'm sure i'll do a few more of these when I get a little bigger.

Random Updates

*She has 7 pair of shoes! Here are 5 of them. Boots, flats and even slippers. 

  

*Added some more necessities to our registry

*Still haven't chosen a name yet BUT have it narrowed down to some really cute ones!

*Baby girl kicks me over and over in the same spot very often. It's such a miracle every time.

*Trying to really get Jon to focus on the add on so we can get her room started and finished before the shower. He agreed to start the nursery in the next week or two!! YAAY I believe my dad is coming over this weekend to make a material list! 

*Wore my first XS maternity shirt today to work and it didn't look huge on me! 

Things Daddy said this week..

He told a co-worker "at first I really wanted a boy, but now I'm so excited we are having a girl! awwwwww

I'll update this later in the week since it's only Thursday and we change weeks on Wednesdays in this pregnancy.

Week 21 

Weight Gain-2-3 and counting, I know I've gained more then the Dr's office has on record. Grrrr they are saying I need to gain a lot more before I come back in a few weeks.

Showing- YEP!  

Maternity clothes- Shirts, yes! My pants still fit since she is so high.

Stretch Marks- Preventing the best I can. None so far.

Sleep- I sleep fine until 3 when Sadie barks to let me know there is a deer or racoon outside ugh. I have had some crazy dreams for the last few weeks.

Cravings-  GRITS.

Movement- A bunch of soccer kicks this week. In the same 2 spots every time.

Sick-Nope. Feeling great!

Labor signs - heck no.....Braxton Hicks HELLO. So soon :/

Happy or Moody- Always Very Moody. Jon makes me crazy every day. 

Looking forward to-Seeing our baby GIRL again this month!

20 Weeks Pregnant

HALF WAY THERE!

We can not believe how fast the first half has gone by. Some days it seems to drag by but then most we are like "omg it's been another week already"! 

Next month is my Baby Shower!

I'm so excited about this! I know 7 months may seem a little early to do the shower but we will be out of town every weekend in June and July is almost as busy. Also, I feel it'd be better to have the shower when I'm not huge and miserable and still feel like putting her room together and I'm sure rearrange it a million times. Get ready Johnny!! Lol.

Master Bedroom remodel! 

I may be crazy but I just had to get this room RIGHT before I got any further along. I loved the original stripes I painted when we built the house BUT it was time for a change and time to move the furniture around to make more room for baby girls bassinet! That is so freakin exciting to me. I want to bring it home from my parents house and have it by my bed but I know it'll just be in the way for the next few months lol. Here is the room half way through the remodel!

The new blinds were hung, new bedside   table was bought and put on my side. Valance is waiting to be hung and the new curtains. Ha our sheets look so bright and ugly. They are nothing like this pic lol.  

Random Updates

*Finally over my sinus infection! After a week and half of HELL, I'm finally not wanting to cry all day long. 

*Added some more necessities to our registry

*Still haven't chose a new yet.

*Bought a Doppler Heartbeat App for my phone

*Trying to really get Jon to focus on the add on so we can get her room started and finished before the shower. 

*A old friend from grade school and college mentioned having a garage sale and having maternity clothes in it. She let me come over that day and I racked up on two pairs of capris and 3 adorable shirts! It's hard to find size XS or SM maternity without paying a fortune. Thank God I have tons of Maxi dresses and skirts that I'll wear to work when I start to get bigger.

Things Daddy said this week..

While looking at our 20 week update he said "I have one of those" and it was an ultra sound of a little girl! and then the part that said my back may be hurting and a small back rub would help.. He starts to pretend to be asleep and snore lol silly thing

After me telling him I dreamed we were having TWO girls he said "that would be ok"  when I figured he'd make a comment about oh no not two more of you or something lol.

Week 20 same as last week really

Weight Gain-2-3 and counting, I know I've gained more then the Dr's office has on record. Grrrr they are saying I need to gain a lot more before I come back in a few weeks.

Showing- YES! Very much. My clothes can hide it so well still. 

Maternity clothes- Still the under shirts. This baby is growing and soon I will have to wear maternity shirts! 

Stretch Marks- Preventing the best I can. None so far.

Sleep- BLAH with my sinuses I wake up at 3 almost every morning and can't go back to sleep. It is getting so old.

Cravings-  Chips and crackers.

Movement- None this week. Well I think she kicked one time and woke me up but the moment was over so fast.

Sick- Just the dang sinus infection. I finally got a Rx this week from my OB and starting to feel a little relief.

Labor signs - heck no

Happy or Moody- Very Moody. Jon makes me crazy every day. 

Looking forward to-Seeing our baby GIRL again next month!

19 Weeks Pregnant

WEEK 19 HIGHLIGHTS 

I still can't believe we know what we are having. Jon is so cute with this baby GIRL. 

Things daddy said this week-

"she is going to be so much fun"

"I can't wait for her to get here so I can just hold her"

Name..?..?..?

This is the hardest part for us. Everything I pick, Jon doesn't like. I know every couple goes through this but he hasn't even kind of liked any names I've said.

Here are the names I love -

* Selena (my grandmother)

*Grace- I think this would be a beautiful middle name as well

*Elizabeth

Jon wants an H name.

 Here are some that are on our list that he hasn't said yes or no too.

We registered this week! Friday March 28th.

It was a lot of fun and a little aggravating due to low stock at the stores. Needless to say I've added a ton off the internet and hope people will not hate me for a lot of the items being "online only". Registering made it seem so real! 

Pink swaddle blankets and boxes of diapers galore!

 

Her room will be mostly white, off white and tans. This is how I plan on adding a little color to the room. Sheets and blankets.

 

I think this Blooming bath and whale knee saver are too adorable! 

Jon and I both love soaking in the Jacuzzi so our baby girl is bound to love it too!

Here is her amazing bed & dresser/changing table! My man picked it out. He has such good taste and loves to shop! I'm so lucky.

This is what I sent all the girls that are doing my shower. Pinterest has made it so hard to choose specific details. This is what we I came up with lol. Jon boy doesn't care too much about her room.
