12 Weeks pregnant

I'm running a week behind on posting because we have been out of town. I will have to post those fun babymoon pictures when I load my 13 week photo. Until then, here are the ultrasound photos from our apt with the specialist in H-town.

Here is our little miracle at 12 weeks! 

So worth the 2 hour drive to our Doctor in the medical district. 

 That's a foot on the left side! 

 And I was saying he/she was sucking it's thumb but after reading my pregnancy book he/she must have just had it's hand up by it's mouth. It was more fun to say he/she was sucking it's thumb. Oh well that'll be in the next week or so.

Week 12

Weight Gain-I believe 5 pounds.

Showing- I think so. 

Maternity clothes- Bought  a few more basic things that were on major sale but haven't needed to wear them yet.

Stretch Marks- Preventing the best I can. None

Sleep- Good for the most part. I wake up a lot to go pee but that's not too bad.

Cravings- Chicken n Dumplins like I have been but also cream gravy. 

Movement- too early for that.

Sick- not morning sickness but bloated like crazy and that's enough to make me miserable and the migraines haven't eased up either.

Labor signs - heck no

Happy or Moody- Having some serious mood swings. Poor Jon, he's taking it like a champ though. 

Looking forward to-our next appointment in a few weeks and then finding out the gender of course.

Gender-Don't know yet....well the Dr told us what he thought the baby is and said he was 95% sure but we aren't saying anything until we know 100%! 

11 Weeks AGAIN too

Hello week 11...so we meet again. BOOOOO
Ok I can't lie and say i'm 100% sad they changed things around because now my due date is later in the month! And I do not want a July baby! Hoping and praying that I'll hold the baby in until mid August.

Anywho, here is my HORRIBLE 11 week photo. I felt horrible last night and didn't care what I looked like. Oh boy should I have cared a little lot more. I also should consider bringing home my studio lights since my living room isn't the brightest place to do pictures.

I did get to stop taking my hormone pill! 

Week 11

Weight Gain-I believe 3-4 pounds.

Showing- No, just bloated looking maybe. (esp after I eat lol)

Maternity clothes- Bought my first few dresses. ONLY because they were on sale for such an awesome price I couldn't pass them up. Of course I"m not wearing them yet.

Stretch Marks- Preventing the best I can. None

Sleep- Good for the most part. I wake up a lot to go pee but that's not too bad.

Cravings- Chicken n Dumplins. Probably because the cold weather.

Movement- too early for that.

Sick- not morning sickness but other kind of "sick" from the hormone pills and spike.

Labor signs - heck no

Happy or Moody- Happy when I'm home with Jon and Moody when I'm at work away from him. 

Looking forward to- hearing/seeing the heart beat again! Only like 4 more weeks haha.

Gender-Don't know yet.

Pregnancy update.... week 11 AGAIN

So it's been one week since we went to the Dr and got to see our little butter bean and hear it's heartbeat......it was an amazing experience EXCEPT they pushed me back 2 weeks boooo. So, now instead of leaving the first trimester i'm stuck here a little longer. They had a hard time finding the baby due to all the scar tissue from an emergency appendectomy I had at the age of 12. The visible scar is from my belly button all the way down and the scar tissue inside is bigger then that. After trying to find the heartbeat with the doppler and the hand held ultrasound machine, they sent us down the hall for a full blown ultrasound! I was happy because otherwise we would have just heard the heart beat instead of getting to see the baby too! Without further adieu, here is our little baby!

And a video of it's strong heart beat! I know she says "she" sounds good, but that does not mean it's a girl.

I will take my new 11 month belly pic tonight and post some info about my uneventful 11th week haha.

On another note, I can stop taking my hormone pills today! WOOHOO I can't explain how happy that makes me. I wont be waking up a 4:30 to take a pill now, praying my headaches/migraines will ease up, other tummy issues will be better and maybe the acne will slow back down. Those things have been a major pain in the butt, but when it comes to the baby, I know it'll all be worth it. 

10 Weeks Pregnant

Week 10

Weight Gain-None

Showing- Not a lot. I think i'm showing but no1 else really does.

Maternity clothes- Nope not yet

Stretch Marks- Preventing the best I can. None

Sleep- Good until 4:30 when the alarm goes off for me to take my hormone pill, 

then it's hard to go back to sleep.

Cravings- Nothing specific this week.  

Movement- too early for that.

Sick- no thank God

Labor signs - heck no

Happy or Moody- Ha well i'm a moody person so I'll just say moody. I'm working on it though.

Looking forward to- hearing/seeing the heart beat TOMORROW!! (It took me a while to do this post because I was out of town last Wednesday until Sunday.

Gender-Don't know yet.

Strange/interesting things- I sweat even more then usual, tingling in my legs very often, headaches like crazy and the typical crazy woman mood swings :/

*We went to Dallas Market last week. It was a blast like every 6 months :)

I know when we go back in June, I'm gonna be in trouble with the baby boutique items once we know the gender.  We walked so many miles each day. I bought a maternity dress that I want to use for some of my maternity portraits! I'm pretty excited about that. 

*Tomorrow Jan 22 we get to see and hear the baby for the first time! I am so excited i'm having a hard time sitting here at work. Mom caught the flu while at market so I'm here alone going crazy. 

*I have watched "What to expect when you're expecting" almost everyweek for the last 3 months.....I can't believe in a few days I will have hit the 3 month mark! Thank you Jesus! Anywho, I love that movie! It makes me laugh and cry. (in the best way)

Recap 2013

This seems like the perfect time to start back blogging or 

documenting the Hoyt's simple yet busy life. 

First, I'll recap the past year then announce the BEST news at the end. Since I'm a photographer, I'll just recap the year with photos.....don't judge the my skills though, these were "snap shoots". Check out my real work HERE !

Our God Daughter was dedicated at church! It was beautiful.

Went to the circus and had a blast!  

  

We had a fun year with Jon and Dad in laws ropings. 

San, we sold him this year. I miss him but it was for the best. 

Jon's very first roping and he caught! Oh San, your showing your wild side with that face lol.

One of JH's ropings was up by the blue bonnet trail. 

The only chance I got to snap a pic was in the Whataburger parking lot haha.

We went to the Saddle Builders Convention up in North Texas 

and I used it as a mini vacation.

It was cold back home but nice and warm where we were staying.  

We went to Camp Quality this year for one day.

JH had a blast because it was cowboy themed.

We did not spend as much time at my parents beach place this year as we usually do BUT enjoyed the few trips we took. Here are the kiddos playing. 

Our God Daughter turned ONE! Time flies.

 We went on a long weekend trip with my parents, aunt and 

uncle and some friends to LA. 

We toured some plantations, stayed at a b&b, ate some amazing cajun 

food and went on a adventures hike with waterfalls.

OH and the best part...the prison rodeo!

My oldest sister announced on Fathers Day that

 they were expecting their 3rd and final baby. 

They aren't finding out the gender!

Changes in the showroom. Market really got us motivated to add some fun colors to the showroom. We go back next week so we'll see what crazy ideas we come home with.

We finally picked out the counter tops for the house and had them installed 4 days before we had all the inlaws over for Christmas. I'll have to put a pic of the finished product up soon.

We attempted to take Christmas pictures...total Fail. 

I'm so picky and thought my HEAD looked too big in all of them.

My hubs is so sweet, taking this pic every week for me. I said last night "thanks for taking the pic" and he said "thanks for being pregnant"! <3 I'm so glad he is a loving husband and is super excited about this journey...Heck it took HIM 5.5 years to talk ME into this HAHA. #notatypicalwoman

 Here is the announcement we gave our family members on New Years. 

We wanted to wait until 12 weeks but some people had gotten too excited 

and spilled the beans. We are still waiting to tell friends in 3 weeks 

when we make that12 week mark. We have video's of our parents, God parents and a few family members opening this announcement. They will forever be a treasure. The screams, tears and excitement were priceless!

Clothes Haul! JcPenny, American Eagle, & Burlington.

Almost every time I load a picture on my facebook my friends ask "where did you get that"?! SOOOO I figured I'd update my blog when I go shopping. AND I want Alley to see what is new in my closet.

I totally lucked out on these shorts! Regular price was something stupid like $40...whatever!

I love the kids section. Ok yes I was over there shopping for Zoe 

but fell in love with these minty green shorts. 

This was the last pair and only size...so me and Zoe can share them.

Our mothers day dresses.

A lot of people have been asking about the longer shorts! 

Here they are and at an amazing price.

They did have them in the Junior section but they were out of my size.

Gonna try to find some dark navy heels instead of these black ones.

I wore this to work and just put a undershirt/mini sports bra under it.

These are the first rompers I've ever worn/bought. They are adorable and very comfortable BUT when you have to go to the bathroom, it can be annoying having to take off your entire ADULT ONESIE lol
